In 2014, and under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, King of Bahrain, to support the Arab Republic of Egypt, Royal Humanitarian Foundation worked on the following Projects:
Building the Kingdom of Bahrain School
RHF built the Kingdom of Bahrain School in Al-Sharqiya Governorate, in Abu Kabir Centre, in Abu Qoura village. The school accommodates 600 students, with a two-shift system; the morning shift for the primary and intermediate stages and the evening shift for the literacy programs.
With the possibility of future expansions, the school consists of 15 classrooms, a library, a computer lab, a science lab, rooms for the administrative and educational staff, a sports for volleyball, football, handball and basketball, and a meeting hall. It features around the clock security.
Projects with the Egyptian House of Zakat and Charity
In November 2015 and under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, and under the auspices of the Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of RHF’s Board of Trustees, HRH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, RHF’s Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed launched the Kingdom’s projects in Egypt to be carried out by RCO in cooperation with the Egyptian House of Zakat and Charity. These projects include the building of two complexes and two health centres for Al Azhar Al Sharif.
